Born and raised in St. Catharines, I attended Brock University where I completed a degree in Sociology. After graduation, I moved to Toronto to pursue a career in real estate, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced and competitive market.
After several years in Toronto, I returned to the Niagara region to raise my family. I live here with my husband and our two boys and feel fortunate to call this community home.
Over the past decade, I have also designed and renovated my own home, combining my passion for real estate with my love of interior design. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, outdoor adventures, and exploring local antique markets and auctions – where I often find unique treasures to refinish and incorporate into my renovation and design projects.
With 16 years of experience in the industry, I bring a seasoned perspective and a deep commitment to my clients. I truly love working with families and feel honored to be part of their new beginnings and the stories they build in their homes.

What a great experience this has been! It started by off calling to the Boldt Reality Teams office after getting several recommendations from locals in St Catharines. I was then transferred to Christine Garus. As a first-time property buyer/investor I was unclear of the process and where to begin. I was nervous as well as anxious and after talking with Christine for the first time, I knew my dream of being a property owner/investor would be possible.
Christine was consistent through out the whole process; she would send me properties daily that she knew fit my needs and budget. When viewing each property (which was many) Christine was patient and very knowledgeable on what to look for and if there were any red flags and teaching me along the way. Her creative mind set help me to see the potential each property could have.

Our family had the absolute pleasure of working with Christine during a very challenging time (COVID-19 lockdown #3). We wanted to move, not just homes, but cities and weren’t even sure which town we wanted to land in. We wanted to look at homes in 3 different towns in the Niagara Region while living in St. Catharines. Christine took all of these viewing requests in stride and booked everything in the best possible way to allow us to view the most homes possible on the only day we had childcare available for our toddler. Not only did Christine find us our dream/forever home and submit an attractive offer which was accepted by the sellers with no sign-backs, but she also sold our current home in 72 hours. We did not imagine that our first home would sell so quickly or that we would receive multiple offers, all of which were over our asking price. We know for sure that without Christine’s expertise and listing skills this process would not have gone nearly so smoothly. She even blocked off viewing times to allow the process to be less stressful for our toddler and allow her to still keep a consistent nap schedule, even during the craziest week of our life with over 15 showings in 3 days. During the contract negotiations for both homes, Christine was professional, firm, and always available for my (many many) questions and concerns. She arranged all of our pre-closing viewings and attended them all to handle any of our questions with the listing agent. Christine is a true gem, incredibly kind, and so knowledgeable on all things real estate.
